DreamHack Masters Marseille 2018 has been confirmed by the Swedish organizer, with the 16-team tournament set to take place this April. After announcing that the second Masters event of 2018 will be held in Stockholm, Sweden DreamHack released information on their first $250,000 event of the year, DreamHack Masters Marseille. Some details about the event got out yesterday, before the official announcement, but all of it has been verified in today's press release. DreamHack Masters Marseille 2018 will be held at the Le Dôme de Marseille—which can fit 8,500 people—, on April 18-22, with 16 teams attending the $250,000 tournament. The first two days of the competition will be played behind closed doors, while the playoffs on April 21-22 will take place in front of the French crowd. The event in Marseille will be the biggest CS:GO tournament to be held in France to this date. The teams that will attend are not known at this moment, but it is expected that G2, who won the last edition of DreamHack Masters in Malmö, will be fighting to defend the title on home soil. Tickets for the event will be available for purchase on the official website from January 12th. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
